HAPPY HOWL-O-WEEN!

Happy HOWL-o-ween peeps!  Hope everyone enjoys a safe and fun day of spooky fun tricks and many treats! On a mission for DOG

Don’t forget that we pups still don’t fully understand why you crazy humans dress up in scary costumes trying to frighten each other and then expect to receive candies and other yummy bad for you goodies.  Keep in mind especially tonight how we pups might be somewhat confused at all the happenings, the trick or treaters who may not resemble what we know as humans!

So, if we get a little spooked, possibly growl a little bit in fear of your crazy creepy costumes try to cut us a little slack and take a look at yourself in the mirror.  Also, don’t forget to keep us safe tonight, when you’re busy handing out candy and such…1392095_468812063238352_1166327602_n

Last night Mom made this cool Pumpkin Carob Cake for us to take to Day Care today…IMG_20131030_224838

While Mom was baking, Butthead, tried to play a trick on me and alerted me that there was something to bark about in the home office.  While I was busy investigating the supposed intruder, that little turd ran back into the kitchen to help Mom with the clean up…IMG_00000469

Preheat oven to 350oF.  Mix with hand mixer all wet ingredients.  Add in dry ingredients.  Mix thoroughly.  Pour batter into a greased cake pan.  Pop it in the oven for approx. 45 minutes (or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean).  Place on wire rack to cool.  Turn out cooled cake onto a cake board and decorate that puppy up with cream cheese frosting (see recipe below).  Makes 1 small 9” bone shaped cake, double or triple recipe for larger or multiple cakes.

NOTE:  ALWAYS consult with your pet’s veterinarian regarding ingredients, serving sizes, & special dietary requirements prior to changing your pet’s diet.

For the frosting Mom used the recipe she previously posted here: (https://walterslunchbox.wordpress.com/2013/06/21/ill-have-my-cake-and-eat-it-too/)
